Charles Woolsey Cole '27 Fund

The Charles Woolsey Cole ’27 Fund was established in 1978 by alumni, family, and friends of President Cole. Cole taught at Amherst from 1935-40 and returned as President from 1946-60. The scholarship is to be awarded to the junior with highest academic standing at the end of the sophomore year.
