Rima Wong Kar-Ki Scholarship Fund

The Rima Wong Kar-Ki Scholarship Fund, established in 2011 by the family of Eric Wei 1979 together with daughter Kelly and son Sebastian in loving memory of his wife and their mother, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College. The gift celebrates Ms. Wong’s legacy and a life that encompassed a love of family and friends, perseverance in the face of adversity, creativity in one’s undertakings, and a passion for life itself—all of which were fueled by her compassionate and generous character as Angel Positive to all that knew her. Income from this Fund will provide financial aid to international students at Amherst having a demonstrated financial need as determined by the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid, with preference for those from Hong Kong and China.
