Marx Scholarship Fund

The Marx Scholarship Fund was created in honor of Anthony W. Marx, Amherst College’s 18th President from 2003-2011, who led change in multiple areas and is probably best known for having been an early and consistent champion of increased access to higher education. A permanent endowment, the Marx Scholarship Fund will provide a new generation of exceptional students from families of low and moderate income the opportunity for a transformative Amherst education.
