Dodge Fund

Established by bequest of Isaac Brown Dodge. Scholarship fund, with preference to student planning to enter the ministry. Dodge was not a graduate of Amherst, but included the College as a beneficiary on the advice of his attorney, Judge Alden P. White. Dodge died in 1895 and the surviving trustee and sole life tenant, Abby Bowen, died in 1941. The College received the bequest in 1941.
