Saffron Scholarship Fund

The Saffron Scholarship Fund, established in 2005, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College providing financial aid to Amherst students with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid. Preference will be given to students from India, Sri Lanka, and Pakistan who intend to return to their native countries to begin their career and contribute to the development of those developing countries. Amherst College provides undergraduate liberal arts education and accepts this Fund in order to ensure access to qualified students with demonstrated financial need.
