Judge William H. Hastie '25, Judge Solomon Oliver Jr. P '98, '97 and Chaka M. Patterson Educational Scholarship Fund

The Judge William Hastie ‘25, Judge Solomon Oliver Jr.’98,‘97 and Chaka M. Patterson Education Scholarship Fund (to be referred to as the H.O.P.E. Scholarship Fund) will be used annually to provide financial aid to Amherst students with demonstrated financial need. Preference is for African American students, in honor of the achievements and leadership of Judge Hastie and Judge Oliver. The Creation of this fund marks the occasion of Mr. Patterson’s 25th Reunion.
