Knaus Fehling Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Knaus Fehling Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1998 by Peter H. DeHaas ‘60 in memory of Knaus Fehling, an extraordinary volunteer with Gay Men’s Health Crisis in New York City from 1986 until her death in 1997. Income from this Fund will be used for scholarship support, with preference for Amherst students with demonstrated financial need who have indicated a sincere desire or interest in pursuing a public service career.
