Henry M. Littlefield Memorial Scholarship Fund

The Henry M. Littlefield Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 2002 by Sheldon Hirsch, Michael Loeb, and John Middleton, members of the Class of 1977 and tri-captains of the Amherst College wrestling team. As Assistant Dean of Students, Dean Littlefield had an unusual breadth of knowledge, diversity of interests, tolerance, and appreciation for multiple facets of life. He cared about character, talent, desire, perseverance and people with financial need. This fund is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College providing financial aid to Amherst students with demonstrated need as a way of honoring Dean Littlefield’s memory in perpetuity.
