Albin J. Sigda '42 Student Employment Fund

The Albin J. Sigda ’42 Student Employment Fund was established by Albin J. Sigda ’42. The income from this permanently endowed fund will be used to provide student employment in various capacities for part-time work on the Amherst College campus, excluding positions for party monitors or any other positions that work with students and alcohol. Each student must be receiving other financial aid in the form of scholarship assistance to qualify. Through this endowment, it is hoped we can improve the work ethic while promoting education at the same time.
