Marcia and Richard Volpert 1956 Scholarship Fund

The Marcia and Richard Volpert 1956 Scholarship Fund, established in 2015 by the Barry and Teri Volpert Foundation, upon the recommendation of Barry S. Volpert ‘81, P’14 and Teri Volpert P’14, in honor of Barry’s parents and their 80th birthdays, with initial funding of approximately $1 million in value, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College providing financial aid to Amherst students with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid, with a preference for students of the highest academic achievement who have lost a parent.
