Donald G. MacVicar, Jr. 1951 Scholarship Fund

The Donald G. MacVicar, Jr. 1951 Scholarship Fund, established in 2008 by Dwight M. Poler 1987 and Kirsten C. Poler 1988, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College providing financial aid to Amherst students with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid. Preference will be given to students who are majoring in geology or environmental studies and/or who plan to pursue graduate work in geology.
