Mehr Scholarship Fund

The Mehr Scholarship Fund, established in 2001 by Walter C. Donovan ’85 and other friends of Professor J. Tracy Mehr, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College providing financial aid to Amherst students with a preference for students who might not fit the normal Amherst admission profile but are offered admission based on outstanding qualities and achievements in non-academic activities—special students who might be called “diamonds in the rough.”
