Ellsworth E. (Red) Richardson '27 Scholarship Fund

The Ellsworth E. (Red) Richardson ’27 Scholarship Fund was established in 1969 by the friends and family of “Red” Richardson in his memory. Red spent his entire life working in the Amherst environment, both as a working student and coach, teacher and administrator. This scholarship is awarded to students who have shown athletic distinction in the schools where they prepared for Amherst. The fund favors no particular sport.
