Charles Merriam Fund

Established in 1871 by Charles Merriam to be awarded to a student whose parent(s) are missionaries of the American Board and have been engaged in foreign missionary work. Charles Merriam was one of the founders of the publishing firm G&C Merriam and was a regular donor to the American Missionary Association. The Prudential Committee of the American Board has the right to nominate the beneficiary.
