L. William Heinrich '53 Memorial Scholarship Fund

The L. William Heinrich ’53 Memorial Scholarship Fund was established in 1979 by family and friends of William L. Heinrich, Jr. ’53. Preference is given to a student from the Rochester, New York, area. Born in Rochester, Heinrich was a member of Alpha Delta Phi at Amherst. He attended Cornell University and received his M.Ed. in 1955. From 1956 to 1958, he taught social studies in the Rochester city schools and later became a counselor. In 1965, he began course work for an Ed.D. degree at the University of Rochester. At the time of his death in 1979, Dr. Heinrich was coordinator of personnel for the West Irondequoit School District.
