Cross-Cultural Education Fund
The Cross-Cultural Education Fund, established in 2001 by the proceeds of a life insurance policy gifted to the College in 1988 by Richard S. Wolfe ’52, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College. This Fund will be used to assist students with demonstrated financial need who are studying abroad. It was established with the hope that the College would encourage its students to expand their horizons to encompass cross-cultural experiences through exposure to the people and customs of other lands.
