Edwin Clapp 1849 Scholarship Fund

Established in 1931 by bequest of John Murray Marshall of Pasadena, California. This fund was created in memory of the late Edwin Clapp, Class of 1849, who was the father of Marshall’s first wife, Margaret. This fund is for the use and benefit of students of the names of Clapp or Rowland only. The Trustees of the College have the right if, in their judgment it is at any time expedient, to use a part of the principal for the benefit of aforementioned students.
