James G. and Mary D. Murphy Scholarship Fund

The James G. and Mary D. Murphy Scholarship Fund, established in 2004 by Richard N. Murphy, Class of 1973, and Ruth E. Murphy, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College providing financial aid to Amherst students with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid and who have demonstrated an interest and willingness to help others in need.
