Lloyd G. Schermer 1950 Scholarship Fund

The Lloyd G. Schermer 1950 Scholarship Fund, established in 2001 by Betty A. Schermer in honor of Lloyd G. Schermer ’50, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College. Income from this Fund will be used to provide financial aid to students who are United States citizens with demonstrated financial need as determined by the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid. The Fund shall give first preference to military veterans who are serving or have served in active duty with any branch of the United States Armed Forces at the time of application.
