Sigval Emile and Elizabeth Neary Hunsbedt Scholarship Fund

The Sigval Emile and Elizabeth Neary Hunsbedt Scholarship Fund was established in 1995 by their estate. The income from the Fund is to be used each year to provide at least one scholarship, to both a female and a male student with a preference to those majoring in a discipline that might lead to medical research. Sigval Emile and Elizabeth Neary Hunsbedt were trained as psychiatric nurses and worked as a team throughout their careers. It was their intention to provide “help for young people in acquiring an education or profession.”
