John Henry Washburn 1849 and 1934 Fund

The John Henry Washburn 1849 and 1934 Fund was established in 1985 by Alexander Washburn ’65 in honor of his great-grandfather John H. Washburn, Class of 1849, and his father John H. Washburn ’34. This fund is used to support one or more undergraduates with demonstrated financial need. Preference is for students from New York City or Amherst, Massachusetts.
