John Ferguson Aronson 1950 Scholarship Fund

The John Ferguson Aronson 1950 Scholarship Fund, established in 2001 by his family with funds John left to Amherst upon his death, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College. Income from the Fund provides financial aid to Amherst students with a preference for first-year students with an interest in history, as John found the broader aspects of history to be a source he drew upon all his years.
