John E. Dame 1866 Scholarship Fund
Established in 1967 by Mabelle C. Dame, daughter of John E. Dame. John E. Dame 1866 "worked his way through college, taking care of the gymnasium and tutoring. He roomed in the old dormitory where the students carried their own coal to their rooms. He prepared for the ministry at Cobb Divinity School and preached in the New England churches from 1868-1913. Preference is for students from the New England area who plan to study for the ministry. If these terms cannot be met, then the fund will be considered unrestricted.
