Richardson L. Watkins '76 Scholarship Fund

The Richardson L. Watkins ’76 Scholarship Fund, established in 2001 with a gift from Richardson L. Watkins ’76, is a permanently endowed fund at Amherst College providing financial aid to Amherst students with demonstrated financial need, with a preference for students from economically disadvantaged portions of our society who have overcome significant hardship to earn a place at Amherst. Special preference will be given for qualified students who have participated in the programs of Summer Search Foundation, Inc.
