Saud Shawwaf '60 Scholarship Fund

The Saud Shawwaf ’60 Scholarship Fund was established in 1995 by Saud Shawwaf of the Class of 1960. The Fund is a permanent, endowed fund of the College created for the purpose of providing educational opportunity at Amherst for students, whether transfers or four-year matriculants, from an Arab League country. One or more scholarships are to be presented in each academic year to students in good academic standing and with clearly demonstrated financial need. Designation of recipients will be made by the Dean of Financial Aid and will be based on College policies then in effect.
