Harriet S. Barnett Scholarship Fund

The Harriet S. Barnett Scholarship Fund was established in 1999 by Richard E. Barnett 1950 in honor of his wife. This permanently endowed fund at Amherst College provides scholarship support to Amherst students with demonstrated need as determined by the Dean of Admission and Financial Aid. Preference shall be given to international students, preferably from Spanish-speaking countries whose membership in the Amherst community will help to encourage Spanish speaking on campus and help to introduce Amherst students to Spanish-speaking cultures.
