Frederick T. Bedford 1899 Scholarship

The Frederick T. Bedford 1899 Scholarship was established in 1990 by Mr. Bedford’s bequest to the College. The income of this fund will be used to provide financial aid for needy students at Amherst College in accordance with its financial aid policies. This fund is awarded with a preference for students from the New England states, and, in particular, from Fairfield County. If the income of this fund is not fully utilized using these guidelines, then Amherst College is free to award aid to students from other geographical areas.
