Robert Eldredge Blood III 1973 Scholarship Fund
The Robert Eldredge Blood III 1973 Scholarship Fund, established in 2001 by his family, classmates, Amherst friends, and colleagues at Fidelity Investments, is a permanently endowed scholarship fund at Amherst College. This Fund honors the remarkable life of Bob Blood, who died on March 31, 2001, at the age of 50. The Blood Scholarship will be awarded to an Amherst student with demonstrated financial need. Amherst will award the scholarship annually with a preference for a junior or senior who is a leader and a mentor with a notable, extraordinary talent (academic, athletic, musical, artistic, etc.) and who helps others achieve the very best in themselves.
